Chief Minister Sai to Hoist Flag in Raipur on August 15

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will hoist the national flag and take the salute at the ceremonial parade during the main state-level function marking the 80th Independence Day on August 15 at the Police Parade Ground in the capital here.

     Raipur, August 09, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will hoist the national flag and take the salute at the ceremonial parade during the main state-level function marking the 80th Independence Day on August 15 at the Police Parade Ground in the capital here.

     Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu will hoist the flag at the main function in the Bilaspur district headquarters, while Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will do so in Durg, and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma in Bastar.

     According to information received from the General Administration Department, Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh will hoist the flag in Rajnandgaon; Minister for Tribal Development Ramvichar Netam in Surguja; Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel in Mahasamund; Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap in Dantewada; Industries Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan in Kawardha; and Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.

      Similarly, Finance Minister O P Choudhary will hoist the flag in Raigarh; Revenue Minister Tankram Verma in Kanker; Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade in Surajpur; Minister for Skill Development and Technical Education Guru Khushwant Saheb in Janjgir-Champa; Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Agrawal in Jashpur; School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav in Balod; MP Brijmohan Agrawal in Baloda Bazar; MP Vijay Baghel in Bemetara; and MP Santosh Pandey in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai.

     Likewise, MP Bhojraj Nag will hoist the flag in Kondagaon; MP Chintamani Maharaj in Balrampur; MP Radheshyam Rathia in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh; MP Rupkumari Choudhary in Gariaband; MP Kamlesh Jangde in Sakti; MP Mahesh Kashyap in Bijapur; Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh in Sukma; and Rajya Sabha MP Lakshmi Verma in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki.

     MLAs Amar Agrawal (Korba district), Ajay Chandrakar (Dhamtari), Dharamjit Singh (Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi), Punnulal Mohle (Mungeli district headquarters), Bhaiya Lal Rajwade (Korea), and Lata Usendi (Narayanpur district headquarters) will hoist the national flag at the Independence Day celebrations.

     On this occasion, all the chief guests will read out the Chief Minister’s message to the public.
