Raipur, January 27, 2010: In a significant development, Secretary to the Chief Minister Aman Singh has resigned from his central Government service.
Singh is a 1995 batch Indian Revenue Service officer, who was on deputation to the Chhattisgarh Government immediately after Raman Singh took over charges as the Chief Minister in 2003.
“Yes I have resigned from the central government services,” Aman Singh told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com today.
Singh has resigned from the central service on January 25, last and has joined the services of the Chhattisgarh Government.
His new service would be on contract basis with the Chhattisgarh Government and the way Sam Pitroda was appointed in the Central government, or for five years from 2002 to 2007 the way R V Shahi was appointed Energy Secretary of the Government of India, Aman would be holding his post, authoritative sources said.
Singh has also joined in the state now as the Secretary to the Chief Minister, Secretary Energy and Secretary Information Technology in the Government of Chhattisgarh, the sources said.
