Raipur, February 03, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today said for the ambitious Mahtari Vandan Yojana women could fill the form from February 5 till 20.
Stating that another guarantee of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been fulfilled, Chief Minister Sai said from March 1, next the beneficiaries would start getting the money.
This will be proved to be an important and ambitious programme for empowerment of the women, Sai said.
Any woman who completes 21 years on January 1, 2024 will be eligible for this scheme.
Officials said, all preparations have been completed and from February 5 the forms can be filled for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana till February 20, next.
Under the scheme all eligible women will get Rs 12,000 per annum or Rs 1000 per month, they said.
To avail the benefit under the scheme, one has to be a resident of Chhattisgarh and a married one.
Widow, divorcee and destitute women will also be eligible for this.
Any one getting pension of less than Rs 1000 under other scheme are if selected for this scheme, they will be sanctioned money which will combinedly not exceed Rs 1000, official sources clarified.
The application is free of cost and can be filled online through https://www.mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in and along with the application documents like any one among the domicile certificate, ration card or voter identity card and self or husband’s Aadhar card, PAN card (if available), marriage certificate, certificate from the local bodies, in case of widow death certificate of husband, for birth certificate mark sheet of 10th or 12th standard, Pass book details with a self-declaration or affidavit needs to be deposited.
