Raipur, February 04, 2024: Budget session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly will be started from tomorrow and continue till March 1, next, Speaker Dr Raman Singh said today.
Addressing the media, Speaker Dr Singh said the Budget for the Financial Year 2024-25 will be tabled on February 9, next by the Finance Minister Om Prakash Choudhary.
However, a third supplementary budget of this fiscal will be moved by the government before the general budget.
A couple of legislative bills and the two financial bills be discussed in the house and passed, he added.
In this Budget session there will be 20 sittings.
This will be the first occasion of the Vishnu Dev Sai government to present its full budget, incorporating all its schemes and plannings.
Financially the new BJP government is not in a very sound position as the per capita loan of the state has increased many folds over the years.
