Raipur, September 08, 2012: BJP today demanded resignation of Manmohan Singh from the premiership accusing his government of involved in large scale irregularities in allotment of coal blocks, causing huge loss to the national exchequer.
The biggest ever scam of Independent India took place during the Manmohan Singh government and that too in his own coal ministry, claimed BJP National General Secretary Dharmendra Pradhan.
Hence Manmohan Singh should immediately resign from the prime ministership, the young BJP MP demanded here.
BJP today took to the street in all the 27 districts demanding resignation of Manmohan Singh for his alleged involvement in the Coalgate scam.
The BJP also accused the Congress of arrogant attitude when one after another scam relating to its government was hitting the headlines.
Pradhan also charged CBI of functioning on behest of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister and added because of that people like A Raja, Suresh Kalmadi and Kanimozhi are moving freely outside the jail.
Dismissing the Congress allegation against Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, Pradhan said looking into his good governance, it was impossible to find any irregularities in his government.
