Bilaspur, May 25 2010: On corruption charges the Central Bureau of Investigation today raided various premises of the South East Coalfields Limited, having its headquarters at Bilaspur of Chhattisgarh.
Including the office and official residence of the Chairman cum Managing Director M P Dikshit, the sleuths of the CBI had raided several places and claimed to have recovered several documents relating to some illegal deals.
The raids were conducted late evening after the agency received information that a huge amount of Rs one crore was allegedly paid to the CMD by some coal company as kickback, officials said.
