Raipur, December 14, 2025: On the first day of the winter session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly today, a comprehensive discussion was held on the state’s long-term development document “Chhattisgarh Anjor 2047.”
In the House, Finance Minister O P Choudhary, while elaborating on the objectives, necessity, and implementation framework of this ambitious vision document, said that Chhattisgarh Anjor 2047 is not merely a policy document, but a resolution to lead the state towards prosperity, self-reliance, and inclusive development over the next 25 years.
He explained that this vision has been prepared keeping in mind the goal of completing 100 years of India’s independence, with Chhattisgarh’s social, economic, cultural, and environmental characteristics at its core.

The Finance Minister said that a planned and forward-looking policy is essential in view of population growth, urbanization, climate change, technological advancements, and the growing aspirations of the youth.
He stated that the objective of Chhattisgarh Anjor 2047 is to accelerate economic growth, ensure quality education and employment for the youth, connect farmers, labourers, and the tribal community to the mainstream of development, promote industrial expansion along with environmental protection, and strengthen good governance, transparency, and digital governance.
