Raipur, October 05, 2024: Chhattisgarh Government has declared the state foundation day November 1 as a holiday.
The General Administration Department (GAD) has issued a notification for declaring November 1, 2024 as a local holiday due to the state foundation day.
All the government offices and organisations will be closed on November 1, official sources said.
On November 1, 2000 Chhattisgarh was carved out from Madhya Pradesh.
This local holiday will not be applicable to treasury, sub treasury and other financial institutions, they clarified.
