Raipur, November 29, 2024: Chhattisgarh government has decided to build an embankment on the river Mahanadi, for which about Rs 11 crore was sanctioned today.
The state government has approved an amount of Rs 10 crore 92 lakh 68 thousand for the embankment construction work on the Mahanadi near village Tila of Abhanpur block in Raipur district, official sources said here today.
Embankment is to be constructed on Mahanadi near village Tila in a length of 1080 meters.
Administrative approval has been issued to the Chief Engineer Mahanadi Project from the Water Resources Department for the embankment construction work, the sources added.
