Raipur, August 22, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today started his Tokyo visit, prior to Chhattisgarh’s participation in the Osaka World Expo in Japan, with a confluence of spirituality, technology and trade diplomacy.
On reaching Tokyo, Chief Minister Sai visited the historic Asakusa Temple. It is the oldest and most prestigious temple in Tokyo, which is considered a symbol of peace and strength.
Sai prayed at the temple and wished for the happiness, prosperity and continuous progress of the three crore people of Chhattisgarh.

He said that just as this temple gives the message of peace and power, in the same way the people of Chhattisgarh also aspire that Chhattisgarh becomes a state full of peace, strength and prosperity and moves towards sustainable development.
Step towards innovation in information technology
The delegation led by Sai met Kayo Ito, Chief Executive Officer of NTT Ltd. NTT is one of the world’s top IT infrastructure and digital solutions companies, with an annual revenue of US$ 90 billion and operating in more than 50 countries.
In this meeting, the possibilities of technology-based investment in Chhattisgarh were discussed.
The Chief Minister emphasized on strengthening the digital ecosystem in the state. NTT is providing cutting-edge IT solutions including cloud computing and cyber security worldwide and remains a leading force in digital transformation.
Strengthening cultural relations and business partnerships
The Chief Minister and the delegation attended the formal dinner hosted by India’s Ambassador to Japan Sibi George. In the discussion held on this occasion, the need to connect the Indo-Pacific countries through industry and trade was emphasized. In this, the important role of economic stability, trade security, ecological balance and industrial growth was underlined.

The Chief Minister said that there are possibilities of extensive industrial cooperation by combining Japan’s advanced technology and India’s skilled manpower. He also emphasized on promoting cultural relations and presenting Chhattisgarh as an attractive tourist destination for Japanese tourists.
Important steps towards building global bridges
On the first day of Sai and his delegation was full of achievements. Important opportunities related to trade, technology and diplomacy were explored. These efforts took concrete steps towards establishing Chhattisgarh as an emerging center of rapid industrial development, digital innovation and global partnerships.
