Raipur, November 13, 2009: Police in Chhattisgarh have been put on high alert after Maoists ambushed and killed a couple of CRPF jawans, close to the state border in Orissa.
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has condemned the killing of forces and people by the Maoists in Chhattisgarh, Orissa and other places said the martyrdom of the forces would not go waste.
The Chief Minister also took stock of the situation after three CRPF jawans were killed at Kalimela area, close to Sukma of Chhattisgarh.
The police in Chhattisgarh have been put on high alert on direction of the Chief Minister looking into the violence committed by the rebels in the neighbouring areas of the state, officials said.
