     Jagdalpur, September 29, 2016: With an investment of Rs 2000 crore Chhattisgarh government would construct 10,000 quarters for its police forces, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said today.

     The Chief Minister dedicated a colony of 116 quarters at Adawal village near here for the police personnel of Bastar district.

     The Chhattisgarh Police Housing Corporation has constructed the quarters with an estimated cost of about Rs 8.5 crore.

      Addressing a function to dedicate the police quarters, Singh lauded the contribution of police forces for maintaining law and order for peace and development of the state and the nation.

     Looking into the challenging job of the police forces, the state government was trying to provide their family members government accommodation, he said

     To solve the housing problem of the police forces, the state government was planning to construct 10,000 houses in the state with an estimated cost of Rs 2000 crore, the Chief Minister said.
