     New Delhi, November 24, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated the cultural evening programme organized to mark Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee year at the 44th India International Trade Fair at New Delhi today by lighting a lamp.

      Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the Chhattisgarh Pavilion and viewed the artworks, handicrafts, and products displayed at various stalls.

     He commended the work being done by artists and entrepreneurs and encouraged them to continue their progress.

     In his address, Chief Minister Sai said that every Chhattisgarh resident is filled with pride when they hear the chant “Chhattisgarhiya Sable Badhiya” in the national capital.

     Referring to the inauguration of the country’s first digital tribal museum in Raipur by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister described it as a historic step that established Chhattisgarh’s cultural identity on the global stage.

     Sai said that Chhattisgarh is a land rich in art, culture, and traditions, where festivals, folk dances, and traditional arts are still preserved with the same enthusiasm and dignity.

      He described millet production, local handicrafts, and tribal traditions as symbols of the state’s immense potential.

     Sai said that the state government is further strengthening Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage through patronage of artists, financial support, and events like Bastar Pandum.

     The Chief Minister invited the countrymen to visit Chhattisgarh and experience its simplicity, cultural richness, and natural beauty.

     A wonderful confluence of Chhattisgarh’s art, culture, and traditions was on display today at the Bharat Mandapam in the capital, Delhi. A cultural evening organized to mark Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee year at the 44th India International Trade Fair captivated the audience.

     Chhattisgarh’s folk artists filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm, energy, and joy through their traditional dance styles and diverse folk-cultural performances.

     At the cultural evening, artists presented a unique display of Chhattisgarh’s traditional folk arts. Live performances of folk styles such as Gaura-Gauri, Bhojali, Raut Nacha, Sua Dance, Panthi, and Karma Dance captivated the audience.

     The lyrical expression of Sua dance, the energetic rhythm of Raut Nacha, the spiritual essence of Panthi, and the captivating presentation of Karma effectively showcased the diversity and depth of Chhattisgarh’s folk traditions. Throughout the programme, the audience cheered the artists with thunderous applause.

     Present on the occasion were Chhattisgarh’s Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, Janjgir-Champa Lok Sabha MP Kamlesh Jangde, Kanker Lok Sabha MP Bhojraj Nag, Raipur Lok Sabha MP Brijmohan Agrawal, along with several public representatives and officials.

     Also present were Rakesh Pandey, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board, Rajiv Agrawal, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation, Neelu Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Shashank Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Sahitya Academy, MLA Sampat Agrawal, Prabodh Minj, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister Pankaj Jha, Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel, Secretary of Tourism, Culture and Public Relations Department Rohit Yadav, General Manager of CSIDC Vishwesh Kumar, Director of Culture Department Vivek Acharya, Khadi Village Industries Secretary Shyam Dhavade, Investment Commissioner Ritu Sein, Residential Commissioner Shruti Singh and other officials.
