Bilaspur, June 4, 2026: During his visit to Bilaspur today as part of the Sushasan Tihar, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai held a joint meeting with officials from the districts of Bilaspur, Mungeli, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Sakti, and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.
Sai conducted a detailed review of the progress of development works, revenue matters, drinking water arrangements, health services, and preparations for the upcoming Kharif season.
During the review meeting, the Chief Minister told officials that the primary responsibility of the administration is to ensure the sensitive, transparent, and time-bound resolution of public grievances.

While reviewing revenue matters, Sai directed that a special campaign be launched to resolve cases that have exceeded their stipulated timeframes or have been pending for more than a year.
He noted that matters such as mutation, land partition, demarcation, and other revenue-related issues are directly linked to the lives and livelihoods of citizens. Unnecessary delays in such cases increase public hardship; therefore, their prompt and quality resolution must be accorded top priority.
In view of the summer conditions, the Chief Minister directed that the provision of drinking water be given top priority across all districts. He emphasized the need for continuous monitoring and swift action to ensure that no drinking water crisis arises in any area.
He instructed the Health Department to make advance preparations for the prevention and treatment of potential seasonal diseases, keeping the upcoming monsoon season in mind. The Chief Minister stated that it is the collective responsibility of the administration to ensure citizens face no inconvenience regarding health services and basic amenities.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed preparations for the upcoming Kharif season and inquired about the availability, storage, and distribution systems for fertilizers and seeds.
He directed Collectors to ensure that farmers receive adequate quantities of fertilizers and seeds on time and that the distribution system remains completely transparent and organized.
Noting the limited availability of DAP fertilizer due to the situation in West Asia, Sai emphasized the need to raise awareness among farmers about using alternative fertilizers. He urged the promotion of alternatives such as SSP, Urea, Nano Urea, and Nano DAP. Adopting scientific farming methods and the balanced use of fertilizers can boost production while simultaneously reducing cultivation costs.
The Chief Minister stated that women should be provided with training in modern agricultural techniques and necessary financial assistance, enabling them to become self-reliant by engaging in technology-driven farming activities. This will facilitate the expansion of modern agricultural practices and create new employment and income opportunities for women.
Sai mentioned that he has personally participated in ‘Samadhan Shivirs’ (grievance redressal camps) held across the state and interacted directly with citizens. He noted that the large turnout at these camps, despite the scorching heat, serves as proof of the public’s growing trust in the government and the administration.
He remarked that Sushasan Tihar is not merely a campaign for resolving grievances but a means to strengthen trust and dialogue between the government and the people.
Expressing happiness over the release of the 28th installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is continuously working towards the economic empowerment and social security of women.
