Jagdalpur, April 15, 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today launched the state-wide Mor Dwar-Sai Sarkar campaign for Awas Plus 2.0 survey under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) from village Ghatpadampur in Bastar district.
During this, the Chief Minister visited the houses of many villagers of Ghatpadampur and conducted the survey himself.

The objective of the state government is to provide a pucca and safe house to every eligible rural family. The survey would be completed in a timely and transparent manner, so that every needy gets the benefit of the scheme, he said.

It is worth mentioning that the 15-day “Mor Dwar-Sai Sarkar” campaign has been started on the special initiative of Chief Minister Sai for the survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin Awas Plus 2.0. This campaign will continue till April 30, next.
The objective of Mor Dwar-Sai Sarkar campaign is to identify such rural families of Chhattisgarh, who have not been able to get a permanent house under any housing scheme so far. The state government plans to provide them the facility of permanent housing.
Under this campaign the survey of the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Plus 2.0 will be completed in every village of the state, so that the approval and construction work of the house can be started early, official sources said.

This campaign will be conducted in three phases. In the first phase, between 15 to 19 April, the survey will be organized at the district and block level. In the second phase, from 20 to 28 April, Gram Sabha will be organized in all the villages and eligible families will be surveyed by going door to door. In the third phase, on 29 and 30 April, all the surveys will be confirmed, approved and verified by the Gram Sabha and the final report will be prepared and sent to the state office.

Sai himself discussed with the beneficiaries in the programme organized in village Ghatpadampur and got to know the condition of their house and expressed satisfaction after seeing the newly constructed houses.
While directly communicating with the villagers, he also said it is the responsibility of the government that no family should remain without a pucca house.
He also clarified that whatever eligible families come out through the survey, they will be included in the scheme as soon as possible.
The Chief Minister conducted survey of eligible families: When Sai reached the house of beneficiary Shilomani Kashyap and Karuna Kashyap, the family members welcomed him traditionally.
Shilomani Kashyap said there are five members in her family, husband Harisingh, son Abhinav who studies in 9th class, daughter Anupriya (8th class) and younger son Abhishek who is in 3rd class. She said that her family had been dreaming of a pucca house for years, which now seems to be fulfilled under this scheme.

Sai also surveyed the house of another beneficiary of the village, Ludri Kashyap. He himself conducted the survey through the ‘Awas Plus 2024 (2.0)’ mobile application. During this, Ludri Kashyap got emotional and said that she had dreamt of a permanent house for years, today it seems to be coming true.
“This is a very emotional moment for me.” Ludri Kashyap also shared that during the rainy season, she used to be worried about the fear of snakes in the kutcha house and the expenses on the repair of the house. She said that now with this scheme, she will get relief from all these problems.
Ludri Kashyap stated that her husband Manbodh Kashyap, daughter-in-law Karuna, son Ishwar and grandson live with her. Ludri Kashyap said that her entire family is dependent on labour and due to limited income, construction of a permanent house was not possible. She thanked the Chief Minister and said that now her dream of a safe and permanent house will soon be fulfilled.
The total population of Gram Panchayat Ghatpadampur is 2,078, in which currently 583 families reside. In this Panchayat, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, housing was approved to 11 families on the basis of permanent waiting list.

Mahtari Vandan Yojana became a support: Rural women informed the Chief Minister that they are also getting the benefit of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana of the state government. They are getting financial help from this scheme, due to which they are able to save some money for their daily expenses as well as for the education and future of their children.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s clear goal is that every citizen of the country should get the right to live a respectable life, in which a permanent house is a basic necessity.
He said that the Chhattisgarh government is working with the resolution that no eligible citizen should be deprived of the government’s schemes.
He also informed that a target has been set to construct a total of 11,50,315 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin for 2024-25 in the state, out of which 9,41,595 houses have already been approved. Out of these, 1,78,476 houses have been fully constructed and the rest are under construction. So far a total of 3,59,037 beneficiaries have got housing.
He said that using exclusively digital means, the beneficiaries themselves will also be able to upload their information through mobile app. To make this process more transparent and simple, GRIH portal has also been developed by the state government.
On this occasion, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap, BJP State President and MLA Jagdalpur Kiran Dev, MLA Chitrakote Vinayak Goyal, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Jagdalpur Sanjay Pandey along with many public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
