Raipur, November 02, 2025: A video of a cordial conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ramnami community is rapidly going viral across the country. Posting the video on his social media accounts, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai described it as an emotional and inspiring moment.
During the Rajyotsav celebrations held to mark the Silver Jubilee of the state of Chhattisgarh, a heartwarming scene unfolded when representatives of the Ramnami community, who live a life devoted to the name of Ram, paid a heartfelt visit to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Sai stated that he met with representatives of the Ramnami community at the Secretariat just hours before the Prime Minister’s visit to Raipur. They expressed their strong desire to meet the Prime Minister, and necessary arrangements were made accordingly.
Sai said that when these devotees of the Ramnami community met Prime Minister Modi during the Silver Jubilee celebrations, they expressed their desire to adorn him with their traditional peacock crown on the main stage with great respect and love. The ease, affection, and warmth with which Modi accepted their request made the moment deeply emotional and inspiring for everyone present.
The Chief Minister said that the “Ram” inscribed on the bodies of the members of this remarkable and Ram-filled Ramnami community, whose religion is Ram’s name and whose work is devotion to Ram, is not just a name but a symbol of dedication, austerity, and unwavering faith. This community dedicates its body, mind, and life to the feet of Lord Shri Ram—this is their life’s spiritual practice.
Sai said that this intimacy of Prime Minister Modi reflects a unique confluence of devotion and action. This scene reinforces the truth that devotion to Ram is not merely worship, but a sacred way of life, which Prime Minister Modi has made meaningful through his conduct and values.
