Raipur, June 08, 2025: The two-day Chintan Shivir 2.0 of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and his cabinet colleagues has started today at IIM Raipur and the Chief Minister said that such training sessions provide an opportunity to the government to get a new perspective and strengthen the policymaking process.

This Chintan Shivir has been organized by the Good Governance and Convergence Department of Chhattisgarh Government in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management, Raipur (IIM-R).
During the two-day camp, eminent experts like Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, former President of Indian Council of Cultural Relations, Prof. Himanshu Rai (Director IIM Indore), Dr. Ravindra Dholakia (IIM Ahmedabad), Sanjeev Sanyal (Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council Member), journalist and political analyst Uday Mahurkar and global digital health expert Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta will address various sessions.

Chief Minister Sai has said that training sessions like ‘Chintan Shivir 2.0’ provide a new perspective to the governance and an opportunity to strengthen the policy making process.
He said that such events provide an opportunity to the ministers to learn important tricks of good governance and transformational leadership.
In the first session, topics like transformational leadership, visionary governance, culture, good governance and nation building were discussed in depth.

In his lecture on ‘Transformational Leadership and Visionary Governance’, Professor Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, highlighted selfless work and ethical administration through the verses of Bhagavad Gita.
He said that work should be done not only with the hope of results, but because it is right.
Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, former President of Indian Council of Cultural Relations, while presenting his views on the topic ‘Culture, Good Governance and Nation Building’, said, “India’s unity is not only geographical, but also cultural and spiritual.
Nation building is possible not only with policies or resources, but with cultural consciousness and moral values, he added.
Emphasising the importance of Antyodaya, Sahasrabuddhe said that the welfare of the last person of the society is the priority of good governance.
Chief Minister Sai said that events like Chintan Shivir give new direction and energy to the government.
He described the views of both the expert speakers as very inspiring and useful for policy making.
Director of Indian Institute of Management Raipur Ram Kakani, Chief Minister’s Secretary Rahul Bhagat, Special Secretary of Good Governance and Convergence Department Rajat Bansal were present on this occasion.
