     Raipur, November 30, 2015: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today asked the farmers to have patience as the state government was doing everything to provide them relief in the drought situation.

      The government is also worried about the condition of the farmers, the Chief Minister told reporters.

      In this distress situation the state government was taking every step to provide relief to the farmers and they should have patience, he said.

     Even before receiving funds from the Centre the state government will provide relief to the farmers, Singh said.

     Jointly the government and the farmers can win this situation, he said adding the government was trying to provide a better environment to the farmers of the state.

      Over two dozen farmers have so far committed suicide in the state.
