     Raipur, October 09, 2022: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today expressed his strong displeasure over the bad road condition of the state.

      On the second day of the Collectors Conference, the Chief Minister said the state has sufficient funds to maintain the roads and directed the district magistrates to personally monitor the repairing works.

     The collectors should work as a nodal officer for repairing works, he said adding the administration should never compromise on the quality of the roads.

     In the 6181 km roads patch works need to be completed as soon as possible, the Chief Minister directed the officials.

     “By December 2022 all road repair works need to be completed,” he said while expressing his displeasure over the complaint of bad road conditions in many parts of the state.
