     Raipur, September 16, 2015: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today reviewed the progress in the skilled development works of the state.

      The Chief Minister asked senior officials to draft a proper strategy so that skill development training could be imparted at the district and block levels in an effective way.

      Chief Secretary Vivek Kumar Dhand was also asked to take steps to speed up the programme.

      Principal Secretary to CM Aman Singh, Chief Secretary, Industry Secretary Subodh Singh, and Technical Education Secretary Renu G Pilley were present in the review meeting among others.

     Chhattisgarh was the first state to start skill development works to help the local industry of the state and later on Prime Minister Narendra Modi adopted that programme at the national level.

     Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also visited Dantewada, the first hub of such a prgramme and praised the state for its pioneering work on this sector.
