Raipur, December 12, 2015: Dr Raman Singh today created a history to become the only Chief Minister from BJP, who has been in power continuously for 12 years.
Dr Raman Singh is perhaps also the only Chief Minister, who was elected consecutively in all the three elections after any state was created in the country.
His government completes 12 years in office today.
However, Singh said this was possible because of the blessings of the people of the state.
In the last 12 years, under the leadership of Singh, Chhattisgarh has achieved several hallmarks but that has not changed his behavior towards the people.
Whether mother mortality rate or development of strategic infrastructure like roads, Chhattisgarh has achieved a different height.
Chhattisgarh is also the only state, where there is no load shedding.
However, on Maoists issue a lot more has to be done so that the incidents like Jheeram massacre or Tadmetla should never take place.
On the corruption front also government has to be seen taking actions.
However, political instability has ruined many small states, Chhattisgarh is marching ahead in the path of development due to its political stability and continuous rule of a single party for a longer period.
