     Raipur, September 19, 2016: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today reviewed the works of the Urban Administration Department and directed the officials to speed up developmental works, which had to be completed before the 2018 state assembly election.

     Electricity, drinking water, road and sanitation are on the top of the agenda of the state government, the Chief Minister told the meeting, which was attended among others by Urban Administration Minister Amar Agrawal.

     The state government was ready to provide all assistance to improve the condition of the urban local bodies, Singh said.

     He also asked the officials to speed up all the developmental works pertaining to electricity, water and road related construction works well in time.

     The inter-state bus terminal should also be completed by August 2018, the Chief Minister said.

     Assembly election would be held in Chhattisgarh around October-November 2018.
