Raipur, November 18, 2024: Bringing laurel to Chhattisgarh, four players from Sarguja district of the state, representing Chhattisgarh in the Professional National Kick Boxing League, won 2 gold and one silver and bronze medal each in the national competition.

These medal winning players of the Professional National Kick Boxing League, held from 10 to 14 November in Coorg, Karnataka, met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residential office and briefed him about their achievements.
The Chief Minister encouraged these players and wished them a bright future, official sources said today.
In this competition, organized by Waco India Kick Boxing Federation, Swati Rajwade of Sarguja won gold in the under 60 kg weight category, Sarwar Ekka won gold medal in the under 50 kg weight category, Satyam Sahu won silver in the under 70 kg weight category and Sanjana Minj won bronze medal in the under 50 kg weight category.
President of Kick Boxing Association of Chhattisgarh Chhagan Lal Mundra, Executive President Tarakesh Mishra, Secretary Akash Guru Diwan and team coach Khilawan Das were also present when the players met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence.
