Ambikapur, April 09, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will unveil the statues of Ravishankar Tripathi and Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad during his visit to Sarguja district today.
The unveiling ceremony will be held at Pandit Ravishankar Tripathi Chowk, near the PWD Office in Ambikapur, in the afternoon.
The event will be presided over by Arun Sao, the Minister for Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Urban Administration and Development, and Sports and Youth Welfare.
Distinguished guests attending the programme will include Ramvichar Netam (Minister for Tribal Welfare, Agriculture Development, Farmers’ Welfare, Biotechnology, Fisheries, and Livestock Development); O P Choudhary (Minister for Finance, Commercial Taxes, Housing and Environment, Planning, Economics and Statistics, and District In-charge Minister for Sarguja); Rajesh Agarwal (Minister for Tourism, Culture, Religious Trusts, and Endowments); Sarguja MP Chintamani Maharaj; and former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Prem Prakash Pandey.
