Condolence Meeting at CM House on Tuesday

     Raipur, June 06, 2010: A condolence meeting would be held at Chief Minister Residence to pay homage to Vighna Haran Singh, father of Chief minister Dr Raman Singh.

     “A condolence meeting will be held at the CM House at 5.30 PM on Tuesday to pay tributes to the father of the Chief Minister,” an official spokesman told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com here.

     An ardent follower of Swamy Vivekanand and a senior Advocate Vighna Haran Singh died at the CM House on June 4 last after a brief illness.

     His last rite was held at his native place at Kawardha in the presence of his sons, including the Chief Minister, and a large numbers of people from all walks of life.

     Born on January 02, 1923 at Thathapur of the present Kawardha district, Singh was a practicing lawyer from 1957 to 1984, before getting into social works.
