Congress members move no-confidence motion against Speaker

     Raipur, July 21, 2014: On the first day of the monsoon session, Congress members today moved a no-confidence motion against the Speaker Gauri Shankar Agrawal.

     Demanding discussion on the motion, Congress members created uproar in the house and raised slogans and with the high pitch voice from the ruling party amid uproar the house was adjourned.

     However, pressing for their demand the Congress members finally went into the well of the house.

     For entering the well of the house 34 Congress MLAs, including Leader of Opposition T S Singh Deo and PCC Chief Bhupesh Baghel were also suspended by the Speaker.
