     Raipur, May 28, 2010: Second time legislator Dayal Das Baghel was today appointed as the Industry and Commerce Minister by the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh.

     Governor Shekhar Dutt today administered oath of office and secrecy to Baghel in a select gathering at the Raj Bhawan.

     The second time MLA Baghel won the Nawagarh seat defeating Congress in the last election by a margin of 6507 votes.

    Talking to media, Chief minister Dr Raman Singh said Baghel would be the Minister for Industry and Commerce.

    The Departments of Industry and Commerce were with Singh after he became Chief Minister for the second time of Chhattisgarh.

     The Chief Minister also denied that there was any discontentment among the party MLAs and leaders over the expansion.

     It was a collective decision of the party and no one was unhappy or had expressed their displeasure to him on the issue of induction of one Minister in his cabinet.

     One post of minister was remaining vacant ever since the BJP returned to power in the state and there was hectic lobby from various sections to get the position.
