Raipur, July 21, 2015: Chhattisgarh Assembly would elect its new Deputy Speaker on July 23, Speaker Gauri Shankar Agrawal announced today.
Speaker announced he scheduled for the election.
With that the nomination for the post of Deputy Speaker was started today.
Meanwhile, BJP today issued a whip asking all its members to remain present in the house on July 22, 23, and 24.
Besides the election for Deputy Speaker the Congress could move the no-confidence motion during that period.
