Jagdalpur, February 01, 2012: Chhattisgarh Government has dismissed from service a revenue officer on her alleged involvement in misappropriation during her posting in Kanker district.
The then Deputy Tehsildar Alka Parte has been dismissed from service, official sources said.
The state government dismissed Parte for her action during her posting at Sub Treasure Charama, they said.
Giving details, an official release said Parte was in charge of the Sub Treasury Charama between 5 June 2003 and October 31, 2003 during which she received Rs 40 lakh cash from State Bank of India Kanker branch and it was alleged that Rs 10 lakh less was recorded in the official documents, because of which she was served notices and subsequently dismissed from services for suspected misappropriation.
