Raipur, October 11, 2022: Sleuths from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today conducted raids in the premises of many prominent politicians, government officials and businessmen in Chhattisgarh.
The raids were conducted in many places spread over four districts, sources said adding it was started from the wee hours today.
Previously also Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate have raided premises of many people, prompting Congress to accuse the BJP of misusing the central forces for its political gain.
Commenting on the ED raids Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, “Nor for the first time and neither last time the central agencies are here. They will be visiting again.”
The Congress Chief Minister said, since BJP can not engage in a direct fight with the Congress, it was engaging central agencies like ED, IT and DRI.
This is an attempt to threaten and terrorise. But people have understood the motive of the BJP, he said.
