Raipur, October 02, 2015: After Narendra Modi became Prime Minister one could see a shift in the Maoist policy and Centre and the states have come forward to combat the rebels from Chhattisgarh and other parts of India.
A fool proof strategy was being prepared in Chhattisgarh also to completely eradicate Maoist violence from the state.
National Security Advisor Ajit Dobhal had already visited the state last Thursday and had a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on the Maoist issue.
In the meeting Director General of CRPF Prakash Mishra and intelligence department officials were present, official sources said.
Meanwhile, the central forces have changed their strategy and are started targeting big commanders of the CPI-Maoist so that they could be neutralized.
The Forces also wanted to launch simultaneous offensive against the Maoists in many states at a time and to meet that challenge the central forces are trying hard to get credible intelligence against the rebels, the sources said.
That is why the Police headquarters considered the visit of Dobhal to Chhattisgarh so important.
