Raipur, August 24, 2023: A high level team from the Election Commission arrived here today to review the preparedness of the Chhattisgarh Assembly election 2023.
Both the Election Commissioners Anup Chandra Pandey and Arun Goel have arrived here today at the Raipur Airport along with a team of officers for the year end elections to 90-member state assembly.
The Election Commissioners with the team will review the preparedness of the state election office for the Assembly poll 2023.
Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babaseheb Kangale welcomed the EC team at the Swamy Vivekananda Airport here.
Deputy Election Commissioners Hridesh Kumar and Ajay Bhadu, Director General B Narayanan, Director Yashwendra Singh, Santosh Ajmera, Director (IT) Ashok Kumar, Joint Director Anuj Chandak are the members of the team, that is on tour of the state.
State is expecting poll to the 90 assembly segments on November-December 2023.
