     Jagdalpur, February 26, 2009: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said in the next three years every village in the state would have electricity.

     About 90 per cent villages of the state have electricity and in the next three years the rest of the villages would have power connection, the Chief Minister told Kisan Mahotsav in Bastar region of the state.

       The Chief Minister today addressed farmers rally in Gidam of Dantewada district, Lamdaguda in Bastar district and Sarona in Kanker district.

      He also distributed bonus to farmers, Forest rights to locals and free cycles to girl students among others in the presence of local BJP legislatures or other people’s representatives.

     The Chief Minister also dedicated two big bridges on River Indrawati and Narangi, constructed with an estimated expenditure of about Rs 6.5 crore and laid the foundation stone for an Rs 3.4 crore bridge on Indrawati in Chatpadmur-Kadkanar road.
