Agril Officer removed

     Mahasamund, February 27, 2009: The Chhattisgarh Agriculture Department today removed a Senior Agriculture Officer of Mahasamund S R Dongre from his current posting after allegation of irregularities.

     The Agriculture officer has been removed from his current place of posting of Basna in Mahasamund on instruction of the Agriculture Minister Chandrasekhar Sahu, officials said.

     The Minister had expressed strong pleasure after hearing from the local people during his tour of the area of the allegations of irregularities and laxity in government works, they said.      The Minister had also asked the officials to probe the allegation and take appropriate action, they said.
