Raipur, August 06, 2010: Former Minister and prominent Scheduled Caste leader Dehru Prasad Dhritlehere today joined the Tarachand Sahu led Swabhiman Manch.
Dhritlehere was in Congress and was also the Forest Minister in the Ajit Jogi Government and sources said he was not happy with the behaviour of many of the Congress leaders.
There was also rumour that he could join the Bahujan Samaj Party, but today he severed his relations with Congress and decided to take up the cause of the pride of Chhattisgarh.
The purpose of the formation of Chhattisgarh is seen defeated and to restore the power in the hand of actual native of the state, Dhritlehere said, he had joined the Swabhiman Manch.
