Raipur, November 23, 2012: An excellent orator, senior Congress leader and former MLA Ganesh Shankar Bajpayee passed away today.
After a brief illness, Bajpayee passed away today, Congress sources said.
Born on May 12, 1938, Bajpayee had represented Baloda Bazar assembly segment thrice in 1980, 1998 and 2003.
He has five daughters and one son.
Governor Shekhar Dutt, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, PCC President Nand Kumar Patel, Leader of Opposition in State Assembly Ravindra Choubey, Congress Media Cell Chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi have paid rich tributes to Bajpayee separately.
