Gadkari demands resignation of Chidambaram from Union Cabinet

      Raipur, September 24, 2011: BJP National President Nitin Gadkari today demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram from the union cabinet for his alleged involvement in the telecom irregularities.

     As per the affidavit of the jailed former Communication Minister A Raja, Chidambaram is also equally responsible for the 2G spectrum scam, hence the Home Minister should immediately resign from the union cabinet, demanded Gadkari.

     Talking to media at the Mana Airport here, the BJP President claimed Raja had in his affidavit stated that he had taken all the steps on 2G matter as per the permission of the Finance Ministry and the Prime Minister’s Office.

     Letter of the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has also proved the involvement of Chidambaram, hence the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should sack Chidambaram and handed over the matter to the CBI for further probe, he demanded.
