     Raipur, September 23, 2011: Main opposition Congress in Chhattisgarh was contemplating to file a public interest litigation (PIL) in the court on the alleged irregularities in the state Electricity Department and its unbundled Board (CSEB).

     After submitting memorandum to President Pratibha Patil on September 15, state Congress leaders discussed the matter with their central party leadership and decided to file a PIL, Congress sources said.

     The Congress leaders have collected documents to claim irregularities in purchase and sale of power and purchase of materials for production and transmission, they said.

     Some top Congress leaders are deliberating with legal luminaries on the issue and soon it would take a final shape, the sources said.
