Giridhari Nayak ADG Recruitment, G P Singh IG Bilaspur

     Raipur, January 5, 2012: In a major reshuffle, Chhattisgarh Government today created a new post of Additional Director General Recruitment and posted Giridhari Nayak while affecting the posting of 32 police officers, including three ADGs, eight IGs and five District Superintendents of Police.

     ADG Administration and Planning Nayak, 1983 Batch, is posted as ADG Training and Recruitment where 1987 batch Rajiv Shrivastava, who was promoted to ADG on New Year’s day has been posted as Managing Director of newly created Chhattisgarh Police Housing Corporation, Raipur from SIB and Chhattisgarh Armed Force.

     Inspector General Training and 1987 batch IPS Anand Tiwari is promoted as ADG and made Director Police Academy, Chandrakhuri.

     Director Sports G P Singh is posted as IG of Police Bilaspur replacing Arun Dev Gautam, who is shifted as IG Chhattisgarh Armed Force/Radio and IG Rail, Traffic, Radio, Raj Kumar Dewangan is posted as Commissioner Sports and Youth Welfare.

     After a brief tenure, Rajesh Mishra has been shifted from Sarguja and made IG Jail, Raipur in place of Bharat Singh, who is asked to take over charges from Mishra as IG Sarguja.

      SRP Kalluri, who was before promotion functioning as DIG Sarguja, is posted as IG CAF and DIG Anti-Naxal Operation, Dhamtari Himanshu Gupta is posted as Director Forensic Science Laboratory, Raipur.

     CAF IG M S Tomar is made IG Rail and Traffic, official sources said.

     AIG PHQ Prakhar Pandey is replacing H K Rathor as Superintendent of Police Kawardha. After promotion Rathor is made DIG Anti-naxal operation Rajnandgaon.

     After promoted as DIG Commandant of 4^th Battalion CAF, Mana, NKS Thakur is posted as Deputy Director Police Academy, Chandrakhuri.

     Surajpur SP B P Pousharya is promoted as DIG and posted as DIG Anti-Naxal operation Dhamtari and in his place Balaji Rao Somawar is posted as SP Surajpur. Somawar was previously holding the post of Commandant of 10^th battalion, Sarguja.

     After promotion as DIG Jayant Kumar Thorat is posted as DIG Anti-Naxal operation Kanker from CAF.

     P S Bara is promoted as DIG and posted as DIG Police Headquarters and in his place K C Agrawal is posted as SP Railways.

     AIG D D Chaturvedi is promoted and posted as DIG of the same Economic Offence Wing, Raipur.

     Purushottam Gautam is posted as SP Janjgir-Champa in place of Anand Chabbra, who is shifted to Raigarh and Raigarh SP Rahul Sharma is posted as SP Bilaspur.

     Ajay Yadav is shifted from Bilaspur as SP after senior BJP leader Dillip Singh Ju Deo termed his style of functioning as “administrative terrorism”. Yadav is posted as Commandant of 1^st Battalion, Bhilai.

     Mahasamund SP Dhruv Gupta is shifted as Commandant 7^th Battalion, Bhilai and in his place T R Paikra from 7^th Battalion is posted as SP Mahasamund.

     ASP Bilaspur Parul Mathur is posted as Commandant 11^th Battalion, Janjgir-Champa.

     SDOP Narayanpur Prashant Agrawal is posted as Commandant 5^th Battalion, Jagdalpur.

     City SP Kotwali, Raipur Nithu Kamal is posted as Commandant 4^th Battalion, Raipur.

     SDOP Keshkal D Shravan is posted as Commandant 10^th Battalion Sarguja.

     Commandant 5^th Battalion Narendra Khare is posted as SP Dantewada, which was lying vacant as recently Ankit Garg was transferred after Maoists demolished near completion Geedam Police Station building.

     Shailendra Brahme of 14^th Battalion, Dalli Rajhara is posted as Superintendent Police Academy Chandrakhuri.
