Governor Shekhar Dutt returns Raipur

     Raipur, June 20, 2014: Shekhar Dutt today returned from Delhi after tendering his resignation from the Governor of Chhattisgarh.

     At the Air port he refused to speak to the media.

     On Wednesday Dutt met the President Pranab Mukherjee and tendered his resignation.

     After the new government came to power at the Centre several governors have been asked to resign, media reports said.

     However, Shekhar Dutt had earlier refuted that he had been asked to resign.
