Raipur, January 29, 2012: Chhattisgarh Government has ordered a thorough probe against the dean of the government owned Bilaspur medical college after questions were raised about his educational qualifications, mismanagement in College and two students committed suicides.
Health Minister Amar Agrawal has ordered a thorough probe against the Dean of Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences Dr S K Mohanty, officials said today.
The probe was ordered after a girl and a boy student of the CIMS committed suicide in a short span of period.
The Government had also received allegation against the educational qualifications of the Dean, the officials said adding the Minister had taken the allegations seriously and ordered a probe in to the entire things.
Director Medical Education Subir Mukharjee has been asked to probe and submit a report with in one week, they added.
