Raipur, May 14, 2012: Chhattisgarh Administration today stressed for early start of Dalli Rajhara-Raoghat Railway line to transport iron ore for the Bhilai Steel Plant.
For the Dali Rajhara Raoghat Jagdalpur project an MoU was signed in 2007 at New Delhi.
Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar today reviewed the progress of Raoghat rail line and Bilaspur-Anuppur double line projects, official sources said.
The Chief Secretary directed the state officials to remove all obstacles from both the projects.
Sunil Kumar directed the state officials to clear obstacles for acquiring lands and also asked them to take early steps to get forest clearances for the projects, the officials said.
The Raoghat project would be completed in two stages, the meeting was informed.
In the first stage, railway line would be laid in 95 Km stretch between Dalli-Rajhara-Raoghat and in the second stage there is a plan to complete 140 km line from Raoghat-Kondagaon Jagdalpur.
