     Raipur, April 19, 2010: Bad news for the people of Chhattisgarh. Heat wave condition would continue at least for two more days with Raipur has the highest temperature of 44.2 degree Celsius.

     The Meteorological Department today said a severe heat wave condition was prevailing over Chhattisgarh.

     The maximum temperature was appreciably above normal over many parts of Chhattisgarh, it said.

     The met Department also said a dry condition was prevailing in the state and the heat wave condition would prevail in some parts of Chhattisgarh for the next two days.

    Raipur was the hottest in the state with mercury touching 44.2 degree and the minimum temperature was 29.8 degree.

     Pendra Road (Bilaspur) recorded 43.2 degree and the minimum was 28 degree and Jagdalpur recorded 38.9 degree as maximum and 26 degree was the minimum, the weatherman said.

Temp: Raipur: Max 44.2 degree, Min 29.8, Pendra Road (Bilaspur) 43.2 and 28 degree, Jagdalpur: 38.9 and 26 degree.
