     Raipur, April 09, 2013: Chhattisgarh cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today decided to make tax free the IPL cricket matches to be played in the state.

     Since the IPL matches would promote business and industrial activities in the state, it was decided to make the matches tax free, a government release said here today.

     The tickets of the IPL matches would be made entertainment tax free as the event would also give recognition to the state as a prominent place at the national and international level for cricket matches, it added.
