New Delhi, April 08, 2013: The government of India has decided to issue new e-mail addresses to All India Police Service officers, officials said today.
The Ministry of Home Affairs would issue new e-mail addresses to All India Police Service officers, official sources said.
The new addresses are planned after a new website was launched for the police officers.
The INTRA-IPS (http://intraips.gov.in) official website was launched by S Jayaraman, Special Secretary-Internal Security, Ministry of Home Affairs, at New Delhi today.
The website would carry the Indian Police Service Civil List, Immovable Property Returns, Latest notifications/circulars, Rules, Police Medal Awardees list, related to all IPS officers all over India.
The Knowledge Management System (KMS) would be made part of this Portal wherein IPS officers would be able to upload and share knowledge resources, which would be useful to IPS community, they added.
