J P Pathak takes charge as Korba CEO

     Korba, May 02, 2011: J P Pathak today took over charges as the Chief Executive Officer of the Korba Zilla Panchayat.

     Pathak was earlier posted in Durg district as Additional Collector.

     He took over charges from in-charge CEO M D Banjare.

     Earlier on April 20, without waiting for his reliever, the previous CEO and a 2007 Batch IAS Basavaraju S was relieved from the post.

     Basavaraju was asked by Korba District Collector R P S Tyagi to hand over charges to Deputy Director Panchayat and Social Welfare Department M D Banjare.

     Basavaraju was transferred on April 13, last to Korea district as CEO and in his place Additional Collector Durg Pathak was posted as CEO Korba.
