Kalpana Patel new Chhattisgarh Working President for Women

     New Delhi, February 18, 2010: Kalpana Patel has been appointed as the Working President of Chhattisgarh Mahila Congress.

     Patel is close to the camp of former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi in the state.

     AICC has cleared the posting of four Presidents namely for Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand.

    However, for Chhattisgarh it had appointed yesterday one Working President.

    Kalpana Patel has been made Working President of Chhattisgarh Mahila Congress, an AICC release said.

     After Vani Rao was elected as the Mayor of Bilaspur Municipal Corporation, the AICC felt the need of having a Working President for its women wing.
