Mahatma Gandhi Brand Ambassador of Chhattisgarh Beverage Corpn

     Raipur, January 24, 2013: Chhattisgarh Government has made Mahatma Gandhi its Brand Ambassador for State Beverage Corporation.

     “Chhattisgarh is the only state, where PSU State Beverage Corporation Limited, which is involved in liquor business, is engaged in creating awareness for a liquor free and healthy society,” a State government release said here today.

     “Not only this, the Corporation has also made Mahatma Gandhi its Brand Ambassador for this campaign,” it said.

     “This is for the first time such an inspirational step has been taken by the Raman Government, which is implementing a phase wise prohibition,” the release said.

     Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today also released a Calendar for 2013 of the Chhattisgarh State Beverage Corporation, containing memorable photographs of the Mahatma.

     Singh called upon people to stay away from all intoxicated materials saying Mahatma Gandhi had termed liquor and other intoxicated materials greatest enemy of the nation.
