     Raipur, April 20, 2012: Maoists today attacked a Gram Suraj party and killed three persons in Bijapur district, where as BJP MLA Mahesh Gagda, two IAS officers Collector and Zilla Panchayat CEO had a providential escape.

     About in eight vehicles when the Gram Suraj party was travelling in, the Maoists carried out a powerful blast, in which three people, including two BJP activists, were killed, reports from Bastar also said.

     However, Parliamentary Secretary Mahesh Gagda, Bijapur District Collector Rajat Kumar, Zilla Panchayat CEO K C Devasenapathi and others had a providential escape, the reports said.
