Raipur, November 27, 2011: Maoists today killed a people’s representative in Koyalibeda area of Kanker district in Chhattisgarh.
Vice Chairman of Koyalibeda Janpad Panchayat Prankrishna Haldar was today killed by a group of Maoists in Kanker district, officials said.
Strongly reacting to the killing, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has asked the local police to apprehend the culprits.
The killing of the people’s representative has exposed the real face of the Maoists, the Chief Minister said while condemning the incident.
